After months of battling against the British government, the RSPCA has finally bought in a new law that all farms housing cows, must now include one cow wash for every 5 cows. This has come afetr secret video footage showed what was deemed by the RSPCA as 'unacceptable living conditions for cows'.
To improve the lives of cows, the government is spending £200,000 on cow washers which will now be installed into barns across the country. Each one consists of a stand, motor and scrubbing brush. Economic analysis suggests that each cow wash is produced for just under £2000.
