Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey is in the final stages of completing a permanent move to FC Barcelona. The deal is said to be around $200 million ,which makes Heskey the words most expensive footballer.
Barcelona have brought Heskey in for his amazing goal to game ratio scoring an amazing 9 goals in 79 games for Aston Villa.
Heskey told the BBC "I think Barcelona is a bit below my level of play but I'm willing to give it a go".
Josep Guardiola (the Barcelona manager ) said "Heskey is lethal in front of goal and that is why we put in such en hegh offer"
Heskey is also said to be brought in his incredible pace. He can walk the 100 metres but Josep didn't comment on that. If this deal goes through as is expected Barcelona will be going in a new direction. Shame it's not a way Barcelona want to be going.
